Marvelous Marble Runs @ Forest Green Branch Library

Using household materials, participants design and build pathways for a rolling object to travel. They will see potential and kinetic energy, velocity, and the effect of slope in action as they create a marble run and a roller coaster with loops. What design elements will help the marble complete the path successfully? In these engineering challenges, participants practice the iterative design process as they design a prototype, test, analyze and refine their product. Sponsored by The Dallas Foundation.
